A historic location on the Colorado & Southern RR is known as the Georgetown loop. On the high (95-foot) trestle, the tracks actually crossed over themselves in a wide loop across the valley to gain enough elevation to make the pass to Silver Plume. You can see the lower track passing under the trestle.
